I'm appreciating people in RW 14 who wish to transform the riverbank into urban farming

The visit itself aimed to survey and find out whether a 3,000-square meter land on the riverbanks could be used as an urban farming location or not.

"As a matter of fact, the riverbank's water conditions are less supportive thus we need to study it further," the council member expressed, Wednesday (7/8).

To use it as urban farming, he assessed, the land should be planted with trees. Yet it should get an approval first from the Parks and Urban Forest Sub-agency.

"I'm appreciating people in RW 14 who wish to transform the riverbank into urban farming," he said.

At the same time, South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency Head Hasudungan admitted his sub-agency would find solution to realize the hopes of the residents in RW 14.

"We ask them to prepare a place, while plant seeds from us," he stressed.
